Technology News Sites:
- Neowin.net: Probably
the premier non-industry, non-techy Windows enthusiast site. Have a
nice tag-line "Where unprofessional journalism looks better."
- NTFS.org: Another good
Windows enthusiast site, formerly a more obviously Windows XP dedicated
site, the name of which escapes me right now. Now I remember:
xp-erience.org or something similar.
- CNET.com: Probably the
largest and most influential commercial tech site.
- ZDNET.com: Pretty much
the same as CNET, and owned by the same company, but much more focused
on the enterprise.
- The Inquirer: I
think of this as the tabloid site of the tech world.
- The Register: Much the
same is the Inq...
- Slashdot: Probably the most
prominent online alternative/tech news site.
Hardware Enthusiast
Sites:
- Tom's Hardware: One of
the premier, if not the premier, hardware review sites.
Celebrity Sites
(Mostly run by fans):
- The Unofficial
Anna Paquin Page: Probably the oldest and largest/most
comprehensive website devoted to the lovely Anna Paquin.
- THE Anna Paquin Website:
A newer site, which is pretty much now on par with the Unofficial Site.
- Katherine Heigl Online: A
nice, frequently updated Katherine Heigl site.
- Mariahdaily: Very
frequently updated site dedicated to Mariah - very very devoted people
running this place. Probably the most up-to-the-minute resource for all
things Mariah.
Web Tools that helped
build this site:
- Opera: The fantastic W3C
standards compliant browser in which all these pages are tested - if it
fails Opera, it doesn't go live. If you would like to buy a copy of
Opera (and want a part of the proceeds to go to me!), click on the
Opera button on the right Sidebar.
- Mozilla: Open Source
web-browser that's getting better, and has Mozilla Composer, which is
used to edit most of the content on this site.
- HTML
Builder XP: Free HTML Editor that is pretty much the most up to
date editor I could find that handles web standards.
- Tripod: Who's hosting
this site, and who I'm hosing out of advertising revenue, since I set
their ads to show as pop-ups, and if you're not using Opera or a pop-up
blocker to visit the site, you must not know me very well.
- Site Meter:
Providing the Site Meter for the site, so I know how little it's viewed.
- Blogger.com: Who are
responsible for the blog section of this site.
- Blogspot: Who
actually host the blog, and are a subsidiary of Blogger.com
- W3Schools: Website
with HTML tutorials, and general Standards Compliance Goodness.
